SwirlyBugz brings to you.....the 4th Annual....12 SWIRLS OF CHRISTMAS! Countdown to Christmas.
The 1st Swirl of Christmas this year, is the newest member of the SwirlyBugz holiday family, Swirly Grinch.
DID YOU KNOW, the Grinch's color was inspired by an ugly rental car???
The 1966 animated classic movie How the Grinch Stole Christmas movie was adapted by the legendary animator, Chuck Jones from Dr. Seuss’s equally famous children’s book. In the original book, the Grinch is illustrated as black and white, with hints of pink and red. Rumor has it that Jones was inspired to give the Grinch his iconic coloring after he rented a car that was painted an ugly shade of green.
Today, SwirlyBugz turns 3. Wow! I can't believe it's been that long. I'm very thankful to have the very best customers & fans. I wish I had started counting the number of ladybugs I've drawn since the start. If I had to guess, I would say I'm now in the MILLIONS! That would be a fun number to know. I do know, IT'S BEEN A LOT! With more drawn and swirled daily. I've got some new items coming to the shop this week. And I am going to start on some new designs for 8x8 artwork soon. Anything special you'd like to see? Email me, let me know on Facebook. What should I swirl next? Would love to hear from YOU! Thanks! Cheers from SwirlyBugz!
SwirlyBugz brings to you, this beautiful Christmas Tree swirled by my amazing 11 year old, Emily. She has the most Christmas spirit I've ever seen. She is so kind & generous and thinking of everyone this season. Very special & creative.

SwirlyBugz brings to you...my NEW (this season) glittery bling ornament!
DID YOU KNOW Glitter as we know it today wasn’t invented until 1934. According to glitter lore, New Jersey machinist Henry Ruschmann accidentally invented the stuff after he took a load of scrap metals and plastics and ground it up very fine. Some reports claim that his invention took off during World War II, when American access to Germany’s glittering diamantine was cut off. Though he died in 1989, his company Meadowbrook Inventions is still in the glitter business today, peddling more than 20,000 different kinds of glitter.
SwirlyBugz brings to you...Seven Swirly Polka Dots.
