Have you finished all your wrapping of presents? I'm almost there. Very excited! Christmas is only 7 days away! What's YOUR favorite Christmas present you've ever gotten?
Don't forget, if you're still looking for last minute Chrismas gifts, you can use coupon code: 12SWIRLS2018 for a discount at swirlybugz.etsy.com. SwirlyBugz found for you...this. I was watching one of my all time favorite Christmas movies last night.
Must watch every year. Every other year, I watch it in color! ;) Anyway, just admiring the SWIRLS used in the opening credits of this 1946 holiday classic. Do YOU like this movie? What's your favorite part? I have many, and found myself literally laughing out loud watching this last night, many parts. Love it! And James Stewart! Classic. introduces the newest member of the SwirlyBugz ornament collection, large silver jingle bell. FUN FACT: Jingle Bells is one of the most well-known Christmas carols in the world. Originally wrote in the autumn of 1857 by James Lord Pierpont, and was published under the title “One Horse Open Sleigh”. James composed this song in 1850 in Medford, Massachusetts. AND Medford is also home to the fun shop 4GoodVibes, where you can find SwirlyBugz goodies! SwirlyBugz Shop
SwirlyBugz brings to you.....the 4th Annual....12 SWIRLS OF CHRISTMAS! Countdown to Christmas. The 1st Swirl of Christmas this year, is the newest member of the SwirlyBugz holiday family, Swirly Grinch. DID YOU KNOW, the Grinch's color was inspired by an ugly rental car??? The 1966 animated classic movie How the Grinch Stole Christmas movie was adapted by the legendary animator, Chuck Jones from Dr. Seuss’s equally famous children’s book. In the original book, the Grinch is illustrated as black and white, with hints of pink and red. Rumor has it that Jones was inspired to give the Grinch his iconic coloring after he rented a car that was painted an ugly shade of green. Today, SwirlyBugz turns 3. Wow! I can't believe it's been that long. I'm very thankful to have the very best customers & fans. I wish I had started counting the number of ladybugs I've drawn since the start. If I had to guess, I would say I'm now in the MILLIONS! That would be a fun number to know. I do know, IT'S BEEN A LOT! With more drawn and swirled daily. I've got some new items coming to the shop this week. And I am going to start on some new designs for 8x8 artwork soon. Anything special you'd like to see? Email me, let me know on Facebook. What should I swirl next? Would love to hear from YOU! Thanks! Cheers from SwirlyBugz!
