DID YOU KNOW...
• We celebrate National Poinsettia Day on December 12 to mark the 1851 death of Dr. Joel Roberts Poinsett, the botanist who first sent the festive flowers to the U.S. from Mexico. • When Poinsett first introduced the plant to the U.S. in 1828, most botanists dismissed it as a weed. • Contrary to popular belief, poinsettias are not poisonous. AND, in the fall/winter, you can find pointsettias in festive SwirlyBugz pots at events! Watch for next year's dates!
