"It's not what's under the Christmas tree that matters, it's who's around it." - Charlie Brown SwirlyBugz brings to you...my NEW (this season) glittery bling ornament!
DID YOU KNOW Glitter as we know it today wasn’t invented until 1934. According to glitter lore, New Jersey machinist Henry Ruschmann accidentally invented the stuff after he took a load of scrap metals and plastics and ground it up very fine. Some reports claim that his invention took off during World War II, when American access to Germany’s glittering diamantine was cut off. Though he died in 1989, his company Meadowbrook Inventions is still in the glitter business today, peddling more than 20,000 different kinds of glitter. SwirlyBugz brings to you...Seven Swirly Polka Dots.

I heard The 12 Days of Christmas in my car this morning, while on my way to the post office, shipping off some more Etsy orders. "Five Golden Rings"...hmm, how can I fit the gold into my 12 Swirls of Christmas, I had a few ideas, but once I considered my Swirly Goods, I realized, there's a lot of GOLD in there! So, here are the Golden Stars of the SwirlyBugz collection. Did you KNOW these fun facts about GOLD? - gold is edible - our bodies contain about 0.2 milligrams of gold, most of it in our blood - the power of an earthquake can turn water into gold - gold can be found beneath the earth on all seven continents - Olympic gold medals only consist of only 1.34% gold My Zoe brings to you...this lovely swirly ornament that she designed and made herself today - especially for this blog. I did enlist help from my SwirlyBugz elves for the 12 Swirls of Christmas this year. And this is what Zoe wanted to do. Zoe is my smart & spunky 8 year old who loves lipstick and playing with dolls. She's so very FUN! :) And I absolutely LOVE her ornament, hitting the Etsy shop in 2018? hmmmm.....perhaps!
